Advantages of using this artist:

  • Her music is of a high quality so that would make our music video a higher quality.

  • We can access her songs easily through YouTube and converting them to mp3.

Disadvantages of using this artist:

  • We have to make sure she allows us to use her song if not our music video could get taken off YouTube for copyright issues.

     

Choosing An Artist

These are the two artists my group were struggling to choose between to use their music for our music video.

Meg O'Kell

Advantages of using this artist:

  • We know this artist as she lives locally

  • Her music isn't very good quality but she can come to our school to record a better version.

  • We can ask her personally about her song so we can make the music video around the meaning.

Disadvantages of using this artist:

  • She has to be able to come to our school to record it if not the music will be of bad quality.

The artist we decided to use is Meg O'Kell because she is a local artist and agreed to us using her music. We can also include her in our music video which is really good because we won't have to pretend to be her.
